There is another minor rush-hour when the performance finishes. The theatre in London is very popular and it is not always easy to get in to see a successful play. 演 出 结 束 后， 另 一 个 小 小 的 交 通 高 峰 期 也 随 之 而 来。 伦 敦 人 都 爱 看 戏， 所 以 名 剧 的 入 场 券， 并 不 总 是 好 买。

Before World War II theatre performances began later and a visit to the theatre was a more formal occasion. 二 战 前， 剧 场 开 演 较 晚， 而 且 看 戏 也 是 件 较 严 肃 的 事。

Nowadays very few people 'dress' for the theatre (that is, wear formal evening dress) except for first nights or an important 'gala' performance. 现 在， 除 非 是 首 演 或 观 看 重 要 的 剧 目， 极 少 有 人 会 “穿 礼 服” （即 穿 正 式 晚 礼 服） 看 戏。
