Dorothy : How much is our budget? 我们有多少预算?

Billy : Ten thousand dollars. 一万块钱。

Dorothy : We've already bought an oven, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. We don't have much money left, do we? 我们已经买了烤箱、洗衣机，洗碗机，和冰箱。我们没剩多少钱嘛，是吗?

Billy : There's still more than enough money for you to buy kitchen equipments. 足够你买厨房用品了。

Dorothy : We need a blender, a toaster, some bowls and plates, two pressure cookers, a couple of frying pans, and two or three saucepans. 我们需要果汁机、烤面包机、碗盘、两个压力锅、一些平底锅和两三个煮锅。

Billy : Take your time. Let's start with the blender. 慢慢来。先从果汁机买起吧。

Dorothy : Do you think we'll need a coffeepot? 你想我们会用到咖啡壶吗?

Billy : I don't drink coffee, and neither do you. It's not necessary. 我们俩都不喝咖啡、不需要买吧。

Dorothy : But we might have visitors who prefer coffee to tea. 可是来我们家的客人可能比较喜欢喝咖啡而不喜欢喝茶呀。

Billy : It's up to you, but I prefer buying a tea service. 由你决定吧，不过我宁可买一套茶具。

Dorothy : Can we buy both? 可不可以两个都买?

Billy : If it will please you, I have no objection. 只要你高兴，我不反对。

Dorothy : Let's do that then. 那就两样都买吧。

Billy : Do we need a vacuum cleaner, Dorothy? 我们需不需要买台真空吸尘器，桃乐丝?

Dorothy : Oh, yes. A vacuum cleaner. I almost forgot that. 哦，要，真空吸尘器，我差点儿忘了。

Billy : I wonder if they have delivery service. I certainly can't carry this much. 不知道他们有没有帮人送货。我是绝对提不了那么多东西的。

Dorothy : Let's ask them and then decide whether we should buy all the stuff in one day. 我们先问问看，再决定是不是要在今天一次购买完全部我们需要的东西。
