Steve: What have you been up to, Johnny? 最近都在忙什么啊，钱宁？

Johnny: You know-sweeping, scrubbing, washing, drying, waxing, polishing... 你知道的——扫地、刷洗、清洗、烘干、打蜡、磨光……

Steve: Wow, your grandma's really having a field day with you, huh? 哇，你奶奶跟你挺忙的嘛？

Johnny: You got that right...and my mom's still mad about what we did with the dishes. 你说的没错……而我妈还在气我们丢掉碗盘的事。

Steve: You have all the fun, don't you? 你还真是不亦乐乎啊，不是吗？

Johnny: Listen, I'd better get back to the grindstone. 听着，我最好回去工作了。

Steve: Sure thing, Johnny. Watch out for dishpan hands there, kid! 没错，钱宁。小心别得富贵手啊，小子！

Grandma: Johnny, are you just sitting around again? 钱宁，你又在那边摸鱼是不是啊？

Johnny: I'm just taking a break between washing the windows and cleaning the toilet. 我刚刚洗完窗户，等一下要洗马桶，我只是中间休息一下。

Grandma: I'd say all you've done is moved the dirt from the windows on to your face and hands. Disgraceful! 我说你只是把灰从窗户搬到自己脸上和手上。真不象话！

Johnny: I'm doing my best, Grandma... 我尽力了，奶奶……

Grandma: Your best isn't good enough. Back in my day, I'd clean a whole hospital with a toothbrush and spit, and it'd be twice as clean as this sty! 你尽力显然还不够。想当年，我光用一枝牙刷和口水就能清一整间医院，还比这个猪窝干净两倍！

Johnny: Uh-oh, here we go... 糟糕，又来了……
